Day 391 6/1 keto diet 11/27/2016

Well I have some good news for my keto diet today, I am back on it. My weight is way up I was down to 202 before moving and my knee injury, now I am back up to 222. This is not acceptable to myself. Remember a few weeks ago, my goal was to stay between 205 and 215. This obviously  did not work for me. I guess I set an unattainable goal for myself. In the future I will need to set more easily attainable goals for myself.

For breakfast, I did something a little different. I had three eggs, mixed some frozen onions, hot sausage, parmesan cheese and some butter. For lunch I had about 6 ounces of pork tenderloin and one cup of guacamole. Then dinner came around, I had 6 ounces of chicken thighs. Later on I snacked a little on some almonds. My total calories for today were 1691, 37 grams of carb, 120 grams of fat and 117 grams of protein.

During my day specifically in the morning I take a variety of vitamins. These include a multa-vitamin, vitamin D, lysine, zinc, L-glutamine, and a few others. My weight training supplement includes a branch chain amino acid. All of these can be easily bought from e vitamins. There prices are extremely affordable for all of your daily nutrient needs.

Day 390 6/1 keto diet 11/26/2016

Well, I say this many days on keto is pretty good. This is well over a year of blogging as well. The past couple months I have put weight on due to an injury and moving away. As of today I have not been to the gym in over six weeks. I am hoping to start back at the gym this week some time. It will feel really good to go back to the gym. To me the gym is the ultimate stress release. It is place where you can let everything out.

Well today was one of those days on keto, I did not keep a record of food. So for all purposes, I think I was still pigging out on leftovers. Usually thanksgiving time for me, means a lot not just one meal but over the course of a few days. This is really not a good thing to do on a keto diet.  So today was another complete wash as far as healthy eating or even attempting to diet. I am hoping this is the last of my splurge days and I can start back dieting tomorrow and follow through at least until Christmas

Day 389 6/1 keto diet 11/25/2016

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. As for today, I have almost a whole coconut cream pie left over to eat. Luckily for me, my really enjoys this type of pie as well. I find it funny I am on a keto diet and discussing pie.  This type of talk and eating will definitely slow my progress down even more. My ultimate dream would be seeing 180 pounds by May or June of 2017. This is really high aspiration for me to even get there that fast.

Day 388 6/1 keto diet 11/24/2016

Well today is Thanksgiving on keto.  I do not expect to lose much or an weight the rest of this week. I did not get on the scale this morning. Today is one of my favorite holidays. It is really a time to give thanks. I get to see family and friends. The other thing is I get to eat all kinds of food I normally do not eat. This, I consider to be one really long splurge from the keto diet. I could not even name all of the food that was there to begin with.

If you are considering a diet, regardless of type. I still would highly suggest paleo meals to go. This diet is similar to keto with exception of being not quite an almost zero carb diet like keto. Paleo is still eating meats, but it is also eating moderate to low amounts of carbohydrates. Paleo to go meals are great. They also taste great and are just exactly the right portion size as well.

Day 387 6/1 keto diet 11/23/2016

Well I am a bit surprised today on keto. Despite not following the diet last night, I still managed to drop a little bit of weight as of this morning. I am thinking maybe because my calories were still relatively low yesterday. This could of aided with the weight loss I saw as of this morning. As for the rest of the week I am thinking it is going to be a complete wash due to Thanksgiving. I was thinking there is a possibility for some significant weight loss between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but that would be really strick dieting.

For breakfast I had three eggs hard boiled. I had mid morning snack of one scoop of birthday cake whey protein from tiger fitness and 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil. For lunch I had a spicy chicken sandwich with french fries from Wendys. As far as the afternoon and dinner, I did not record what I ate. At this point I was traveling back home for Thanksgiving.  So after today until probably Saturday I am considering the rest of the week a complete wash when it come to keto. I will try to be back on keto starting Sunday.

Day 386 6/1 keto diet 11/22/2016

Once again, I prove following keto will help in weight loss. I am down a little bit of weight since yesterday. This is good for now, but remember this is the week of Thanksgiving. With a holiday this week, and one that is notorious for people over eating, I am not being optimistic about weight loss after tomorrow.  I guess my future in weight loss will have to be after the New Year. This would be after all holidays: Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think this would be a better time for some serious weight loss.

I started out the morning with breakfast three eggs hard boiled, the perfect keto breakfast. In the mid morning I had mid morning snack of one scoop of birthday cake whey protein from tiger fitness and 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil. For lunch I had 6 ounces of pork tenderloin and one cup of guacamole. In the afternoon I had another snack of one scoop birthday cake whey protein from tiger fitness and 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil. By this time of the week I am already thinking of Thanksgiving, which really messes up the keto diet. Dinner came around I had a bison burger and some fries, not exactly your keto dinner.

Day 385 6/1 keto diet 11/21/2016

This week on keto should be very interesting considering it is the week of Thanksgiving. This time of the year is always hard for me. This is because, I tend to over eat and really enjoy the holidays. So, even though I am up on weight I think I might actually try to enjoy the holidays and concentrate on the weight loss in 2017.  This is, I think a better goal to concentrate on for 2017. At least this goal seems more attainable as well.

For breakfast I had three eggs hard boiled. In the mid morning around 8 am, I had snack of one scoop birthday cake whey protein from  tiger fitness and 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil. For lunch, I had 6 ounces of pork tenderloin and one cup of guacamole. In the afternoon I had another snack of one scoop of one scoop birthday cake whey protein from tiger fitness and 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil.  After work I did a yoga workout. I still need to get back to the gym and start weight lifting. For dinner I had a steak wrapped in bacon with a salad with some ranch dressing. My total keto calories for today were 1700, 44 grams of carbs, 111 grams of fat and 130 grams of protein.

Day 384 6/1 keto diet 11/20/2016

Well it is another Sunday on the 6/1 keto diet. I am quite disappointed in my self for how much weight I am up as of today. I have gained 8 pounds on my carb loading day. This is is completely unacceptable and I am quite disappointed  in myself. This really shows a true lack of self control. I have mentioned the word self control quite a few times. Now, I cannot even display self control myself  which just is horrible itself.

Well, once again, I, have not been good on using my fitness pal on tracking my food intake. The only thing I have recorder is is breakfast from Sunday which was bacon and eggs. This shows I have no committed myself back to getting on track with weight loss and my keto diet. I really need to be more diligent on tracking my food intake, so I can actually learn what is going on with my diet to improve or change it. On top of things, this week is Thanksgiving which is almost a throw away week for me since, I do want to enjoy that day.

Day 383 6/1 keto diet 11/19/2016

My keto reboot is still underway today. No surprise, I am up weight since yesterday. At this point I wish I would of had more self control to maintain my previous weight from a month ago. As of now I up 15 to 20 pounds since September. I also blame this partially on my knee problem as well. Between moving a state away and injuring my knee running it has adversely affect my potential weight loss. This is just going to make it longer before I reach my goal weight.

My carb loading day was full of horrible snacks to say the least. For breakfast I had some pancake with syrup. I had bought pancake mix. For lunch we went to a barbecue restaurant, I had chicken wings, baked beans, corn bread and some sweet potato fries. This lunch was huge and I was so full afterwards. My dinner was probably the least health of the whole day. I had rice krispy treat, and two slim jims. This was exactly a healthy meal at all if you even consider it a meal at all.

Day 382 6/1 keto diet 11/18/2016

To my surprise I did manage to drop a little bit more weight this morning on keto. It is still going extremely slow start. This is still going to be a few weeks to a few months before I actually see significant weight loss. It is even more difficult because of the upcoming holidays. Next week is Thanksgiving and then a month later is Christmas. This time of the year is always hard to lose weight. So people have only one house to go visit relatives others have two three or even four houses.

Well today, I did not do to well on keeping my fitness pal up to date. Here, I am a complete week behind on blogging as well. I have not been doing well on keeping up the keto blog. I also realized as stated above, it will be a while before I see significant results. I am expecting to see results in mid spring to early summer. My goal is still 185 pounds, which is still a little bit away. Actually at my current weight it is quite a few pounds away. So the next four to six months will definitely be challenge for my self.
